2024 Winter Conference a Great Success!

The GPCA 2024 Winter Conference held annually in Athens, Georgia was last week, January 09 through January 11, 2024. The conference of 530 was full of CEUs, raffles, and surprises. Here is a brief recap of the events!

Raffles - Traeger Grill & Guardian Shotgun Raffle

Cliff Nipper of National Termite & Pest won Oldham's Traeger Grill by raffle. Thanks, Tim Robinson for supplying that grill every year! Al Shaeffer of Central Termite & Pest won the Guardian shotgun sponsored by Target Specialty Products.

As more people travel, there are increasing instances of bed bug encounters domestically and abroad. This webinar will provide participants with comprehensive information on bed bugs including identification, ways they spread, inspections (when and how), preventing exposures, and control measures. Our experts will provide practical information to help you reduce the likelihood of bringing bed bugs home and what to do if you find they’ve followed you home. Enlisting the help of a pest management professional to deal with home infestations will also be discussed.

 Please note a couple of user tips and important details regarding your group RESLINK:

• The group RESLINK is best opened in Chrome or Edge internet web browsers. Using alternate internet web browsers, i.e. Internet Explorer or Firefox will result in a “No Availability” or “Error” outcome.
• A “No Availability” outcome will result if the requested room type is not available for all nights of the intended stay. Should this occur, try to adjust the dates of stay or select an alternate room type.
• The start & end date may include pre- and/or post- group days (subject to availability) which may be different than the arrival & departure dates listed on the contract agreement.

Room Nights at the Westin will be as follows:

Island View: $269 per night

Partial Ocean View: $279 per night

Ocean View: $299 per night

Ocean Front: $329 per night

 Double Queen Suite: $259 per night

King Suite: $249 per night

Standard Double Queen: $239 per night
