New Executive Director starts at GPCA

| The newly named Executive Director of Georgia Pest Control Association, Glenda Lehmberg, started work on Tuesday, March 26, 2024. The newly configured office team, including Christina Chapman, Education & Accounting Director, and Lydia Crabtree, Communications Coordinator, took some time to team build and get to know each other. President, Greg Holley was on hand to make sure her first day was successful and her attention was turned to the most important things. |

NPMA 2024 Women's Forum

May 7-9, 2024 Women's Forum is to be held by the National Pest Management Association (NPMA) in Atlanta, GA at the Starling Atlanta in midtown.
This annual conference focuses on topics relevant to women in the Pest Management industry. This year the topics include diversity and inclusion, Human Resources, and leadership development. A special ticket self-defense & cyber security presentation is offered on Tuesday, May 7 from 9am to noon.
The Keynote address is Tuesday, May 7th in the Sequoia Ballroom at 2:30 PM on How to Network. With a Reception at 5:30 PM in Altair.
Wednesday, May 8 topics include Networking Breakfast, Understanding a Woman's Career Life Cycle, and Job Role Breakout sessions. Impact Awards Presentations will be held just before the Networking Lunch followed by sessions on Career Pathing and Work Life Balance. The day ends with a Women-Owned Business Panel and Happy Hour.
Thursday, May 9 features a GPCA's Women in Pest Management and Arrow Exterminators co-event putting together Hope Baskets for The Drake House followed by a Networking Breakfast.
Bevin Mugford with Inspire Corps will lead participants during the KeyNote address entitled Dynamic Energy Management. Participants will learn to validate and normalize a full spectrum of experiences and emotions, understand how to activate energy management as a key leadership muscle, and gain awareness and skills in managing energy and emotions for self and others using a tool called RESETS. This address leads into a Dynamic Energy Management Interactive Workshop later in the morning.

Please note a couple of user tips and important details regarding your group RESLINK:
- The group RESLINK is best opened in Chrome or Edge internet web browsers. Using alternate internet web browsers, i.e. Internet Explorer or Firefox will result in a “No Availability” or “Error” outcome.
- A “No Availability” outcome will result if the requested room type is not available for all nights of the intended stay. Should this occur, try to adjust the dates of stay or select an alternate room type.
- The start & end date may include pre- and/or post- group days (subject to availability) which may be different than the arrival & departure dates listed on the contract agreement.
