Member of the Rome Lions Club, served two terms as president also received the Melvin Jones Fellow award. Serving as Region 3 director 3 times, he received a Region director of the year award, he also serves on other committees as well.
Member of Pleasant Hope Baptist Church & serves as finance and building chairman. Married to Wanda for 34 years, 2 daughters- Meagan Woodall and Mallory Redden, 4 grandchildren, Emma-7, Mackenzie-4, Brodie-2, Bailey-1. Roger loves to play golf, retired drag racer, 1985 won the division 2 NHRA world championship at Atlanta Dragway. Helping others is something Roger enjoys to do as a part of his life. He is the current President of GPCA.
Stuart Sinyard, Vice President at Adams Exterminators, Albany. His responsibilities include human resources, QAR & really a little bit of everything depending on what the needs of the company are for any particular day. Stuart is a second generation pest control operator, graduating from UGA with a degree in Entomology. He is the current Vice President of GPCA.

Garry Adams is the Director of Real Estate and Market Development for Northwest Exterminating. He is responsible for overseeing the Northwest real estate schools in Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee. In addition, he oversees the team of Instructors that are responsible for teaching Continuing Education to Northwest real estate partners in those markets. He is also part of the Northwest Acquisition Team to generate further growth in strategic markets. His team assists the Northwest sales force in developing new relationships throughout the Southeast. Away from work, Garry’s passions are his wife, Nancy; daughter, Suzanne and husband, Adam; daughter, Katie and husband, Travis and their children, Ryder and Finley; and daughter, Erin, a Freshman in college. He enjoys driving and restoring antique and muscle cars in his spare time. Garry and Nancy reside in East Cobb.
Brantley Russell is a Regional Vice President for Arrow Exterminators, Inc. He started out in the Turf & Ornamental Business in 1985 with Turf King out of Jacksonville, Florida which sold to Bug-Out Service in 1986. During his 19 years with Bug Out Service, Brantley served in positions with the company as a Lawn Technician, Lawn Supervisor and then helped open the Yulee, Florida Branch Operation where he served as Branch Manager until 2005. During his time with Bug Out Service, Brantley was involved with several organizations within the Amelia Island and Callahan/Hilliard communities and was President of the Greater Nassau County Chamber-Commerce.
In Jan. 2005, Brantley had the opportunity to join Arrow Exterminators, Inc. as a Service Center Manager to run the operations for a newly acquired company in Evans, Ga. In 2006 he was promoted to District Manager, and in July 2007 he became Regional VP of Operations for Region 4 which now encompasses East Ga and South Carolina. During the past 18 years, Brantley has served in many capacities with GPCA serving on the Board of Directors with various committees as well as being a Graduate of the Leadership program.
Brantley has been married for 27 years to his lovely wife Karen, has three children, Lindsey, Lauren and Tyler as well as two fantastic granddaughters; Emma and Chloe! During his spare time, Brantley enjoys being on the lake during the summer months, traveling to the mountains and attending College football games to watch the Florida Gators!!
David Helms is a pest management professional for Enviroguard Pest Solutions, Inc. in Ringgold, GA. David is also involved in public relations at Enviroguard. He represents Enviroguard at BNI (Business Network International) where he serves as Vice-President of the Chattanooga-Lookout Chapter for 2014-2015. David is active in the Catoosa County Chamber of Commerce and was recently honored as Ambassador of the Month. He is a certified technician in Tennessee and a registered technician in Georgia. He also holds additional certifications including: QualityPro, QualityPro Schools, GreenPro and is a graduate of Sentricon ® University.
Born in Enterprise, Alabama, David lives in Ringgold, GA with his wife Carolyn, a retired pharmacist. He is a graduate of Dalton State College with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. He also has a Bachelor of Music Education from Samford University and a Master of Church Music from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. In addition, David worked for sixteen years in residential real estate and as a financial advisor with IDS/American Express. He is a member of McFarland United Methodist Church in Rossville, GA and is also a vocalist. He enjoys spending time with his one granddaughter as well as writing and photography. His son Dave, a software developer, resides in San Diego. David’s hobbies include music composition, photography, and blogging. David also serves as a volunteer for a local hospital.
Ryan Streeter has been in the pest control industry since 2001, when he started as a pest control technician in Dallas, Texas. He has been active in the industry here in Georgia since 2005 where he has managed operations for two different companies. He is now the Branch Manager for Active Pest Control in Rome, GA. He is married with two children, and is passionate about training and development.
Shay serves as Chief HR Officer and Senior Vice President of Professional Development for Arrow Exterminators. She is a strategic business partner as a member of the Executive and Strategic Planning Teams at the company. Her duties include the management of the organization’s Human Resource strategic initiatives, objectives and functions, which include HR, benefits, payroll, recruiting and the company’s intern program. She is also the executive representative for Professional Development which encompasses Arrow University and Technical Services. Arrow University is the company’s professional development team that uses advanced learning concepts and techniques to facilitate all training for the company, including manager, new employee and technical training. Shay has been named “Impact Player of the Year” for 2012-2013, 2013-2014 and 2015-2016 along with her team members. In addition, she also was named the recipient of the “Jeff Singley Leadership Award” in 2014. Runion was named NPMA’s (National Pest Management Association’s) Women of Excellence Award winner in 2016 for her impact on our industry in Georgia and the national front. The Arrow University Team under Shay’s leadership won the Joe Thomas Pioneer Award for the company in 2018. This award is given to the individual or team in the company who is recognized for using creativity and innovation for the advancement of Arrow. Factors for consideration include the impact on the company, a "Beyond the Call" attitude, pushing the edge of the envelope, overall contribution, leadership skills, and respectfully challenging the paradigm. Most recently, Shay was honored by the Atlanta Business Chronicle as a recipient of a HR Hero Award for her outstanding accomplishments in the HR field.
Shay graduated from Auburn University in Agricultural Sciences and has a Master of Sciences degree in Human Resources Development from Villanova University. Shay previously served on the Georgia Pest Control Association Executive Board for over four years. Runion is the 2nd female in the 66-year history of the Association to serve on the Executive Board and as President. Shay is still very involved with the state association serving as a Region Director and on several committees. She also spearheads the Professional Women of GPCA group. She serves as Co-Chair for the National Pest Management Association’s Professional Women group and Chair of the newest committee, the Recruitment and Retention Committee in which she will use her HR expertise. Shay is a GA department of Agriculture approved speaker, helps facilitate train-the-trainer, and has served as the GPCA Leadership Chairman and the Education committee co-chair for several years in the past.
She is also a member of the Board of Visitors for Truett McConnell College. Her contributions extend to her community in which she works with several local schools as a senior project professional mentor and booster club supporter. She resides in Canton, GA with her husband Jeff and two boys, Zeb and Eason. Their family is involved in their Church where she enjoys singing. They spend family time playing sports and watching sporting events. You can find the four of them either at their Church, at the ballfield or riding four-wheelers and dirt bikes. Shay enjoys her work but also loves being a boy mom!

David Garland is the owner and CEO of Garland Services, Inc. located in Douglasville, Georgia. He started in the pest control industry in 1974 as a pest control technician and worked his way up through the ranks with great strides, receiving numerous awards and recognitions along the way. After 26 years in the industry, Mr. Garland decided to apply his vast experience and working knowledge to his own customer base and opened his own company in 2000. Mr. Garland has served on the Board of Directors of the Georgia Pest Control Association and Co-Chairman of the 2008 Winter Conference held annually in Athens, Georgia. Mr. Garland has served as Region 5 Director from 2004 to 2007 and was re-elected to serve as Region 5 Director for 2011-2012 and again for the 2017-2019 term. He was recognized as Region Director of the Year in 2005 at the GCPA Summer Conference in Myrtle Beach, SC. Mr. Garland is also a graduate of the GPCA Leadership Class of 2005. His 42 years experience in the pest control industry has been advantageous in the successful growth of Garland Services. Mr. Garland is continually upgrading operations and services to ensure quality customer care.
Andrew has been in the pest control industry for 10 years starting at Terminix. While at Terminix he worked as an outside sale professional, service manager and sales manager. Andrew has recently started a new journey with Active Pest Control as Branch Manager for their Newnan location. He is currently certified in HPC and WDO in Georgia and Alabama. Andrew is also licensed in Mosquito in Georgia.
Devin Duley is currently the Chief Operating Officer for Active Pest Control In McDonough, GA. Responsible for development of operations and procedures. He has been with Active since 2005 and has been a part of the executive team over the last 10 years. Devin has been married to his wife, Janet, for 32 years. They have two daughters, Hannah and Marisa, and two grandchildren Audrey and Laney.
Bill serves as Director of Talent for Cingo Pest in Dublin, GA. He has been in the industry since 2008 and holds many certifications in multiple states including being an ACE. Bill is a past graduate of the 2013 GPCA Leadership Program and also serves as Co-Chair for the GPCA South Georgia Conference. He also holds a BBA from Georgia Southern University. He lives in Dublin with his wife Catie and two children, Willow Cate and Mason.
Deborah Givens serves as an Office Manager for Northwest Exterminating. She has been a part of the Northwest team for over 11 years. She began her career in the field as a pest tech, then moved into an administrative position, and eventually worked toward her current leadership role as an office manager. Deborah became a Certified Operator in 2011 and enjoys learning and experiencing new things. She resides in Snellville with her two dogs and in her spare time Deborah enjoys traveling, the arts, and exploring the great outdoors.
Danny Hopkins is president of Athens Exterminating, Inc. and has been in the pest control business for 34 years. He has proudly served as Region 10 director in the past and is honored to serve his region again. Danny has been married to his wife, Cindy, for 23 years. They have a son, Peyton, who oversees the wildlife trapping department at Athens Exterminating.
Terry has been in the pest industry for 20 years and has been in every capacity of the business (termite technician, pest technician, pest /termite service manager, corporate service manager, regional manager). Currently, he is the Chief Compliance Officer for Knox Pest Control, where he has been for the last 15 years. He resides in Phenix City, Alabama with his two children Ashley and Johnathan.
Dennis was introduced to pest control in 1976 as a sub-termite technician. He has a BS degree in Entomology from the University of Georgia. He is certified in Georgia and Florida in household pest, WDO, fumigation and lawn & ornamental. Dennis is president and operator at Georgia Pest Control,inc. He is a member of Georgia Entomological Society. He is a licensed Real Estate salesman. Dennis also raises Red Angus cows.
Wendy started her career in the pest control industry in 2008 on the administrative side and has been fortunate enough to spend the last 7 years in the field building Redfern Pest Solutions. She serves as the DCO and handles all financial, marketing and business development along with scheduling and overflow servicing. Outstanding customer service, educated and polite technicians, results and continued growth are among her top priorities. She is very excited to once again help with Region 16 and all the great people and companies here.
Wendy lives on Saint Simons Island and has four children, the oldest of which graduated from KSU in Kennesaw, Georgia in 2016. The other three are vying for the “next graduate” honor….nothing like sending the youngest to college to motivate everyone else to graduate before she does!
Laura serves as the Office Manager and Chief HR Officer for HomeTec Exterminating. She has grown up in the industry and is a second generation pest control operator. Laura graduated Magna cum Laude from The University of Georgia with a masters degree in Education. Laura has recently become a Certified Operator in Georgia and is currently in GPCA’s Leadership program. She is also a member of GPCA’s Professional Women in Pest Control and sits on the Community Associations Institute (CAI) Gala Committee.
Bryan Baird has been part of the pest control industry for over 25 years. He has worked in all aspects of the industry, he started as a pest control tech at Western Exterminator Company in California, He worked his way from pest control technician to management before moving to Valdosta, Ga. to be near family. When he arrived in Valdosta he worked as a branch manager for Terminix International before deciding to step out and start his own company, Baird’s Pest Control, LLC., which he has been running for 8 years now. Bryan Loves our industry and wants to be an active participant in bringing pest control to the next level.
Hunter grew up in the industry, working for his family’s termite and pest control company in South Carolina, helping with termite and moisture remediation jobs. He is a graduate of Clemson University with a degree in Political Science. Upon graduating, Hunter joined the Forshaw team and over the past four years, has been on various state association committees, assisted Georgia PCO’s, and currently serves on the Leadership Development Group with the National Pest Management Association.
Hal Coleman graduated from The University of Georgia in 1974 with a degree in entomology and has been directly involved in the pest control industry for over 44 years, including 10 years as a State Pest Control Regulatory Inspector, 6 years in sales and service for Arrow Exterminators in Atlanta, and 18 years as owner/operator of his own pest control company.
He sold his pest control business in 2007 to become a full-time marketing consultant, business coach and sales trainer. Through his company, Coleman Services, Inc., he has taught hundreds of PCOs, managers, salespeople and technicians how to get more referrals and more new customers by becoming Master Marketers and Communicators.
He is also past president of The Georgia Pest Control Association and a founding member of GPCA’s Train-the-Trainer program. In 2017 he was inducted into the GPCA Hall of Fame.
